Marist Boy Scouts’ Overnight Camp Out

Helping the Marist Boy Scouts learn and enhance their basic outdoor skills is a camp out to be held on February 12-13, 2016. The activity aims to develop and instill self-discipline and a sense of responsibility in the students.

According to Marist Scout Leader and MAPEH Teacher Mr. Jaycee Teruel, the boys will be setting up tents in the school oval and will be engaged in cooperative activities (flag making, treasure hunting, map reading, and deciphering Morse code) that will help boost their social development and will provide them an experience in citizenship training.
