Students from grades 3 to 12 celebrated a Holy Eucharist last September 6, 2019 at the high school covered court to signal the start of the Season of Creation.
Presiding the mass was Fr. Gilbert Ytac, CP from St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, who reminded the students to take part in the stewardship of God’s creations, upholding our “interconnectedness.”
“Bilang partisipasyon sa pag-aalaga sa nilikha ng Diyos, tayo rin ay may magagawa [gaya ng] pag-iwas sa plastik [at] pag-iwas magtapon ng basura kung saan-saan. Kaya kung ayaw maapektuhan, alagaan ang mga nilikha ng Diyos,” he said in his homily.
Prior to the mass, students from senior high school delivered speeches and a grade school student sang Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” to call for action for all creation.
