Dear Parents/Guardians,

Greetings of peace and goodwill from Marist School!

Nothing is as important as the safety of our students, personnel and every member of the Marist School community. Please know that we are working to continuously provide you with updates on school situation and are taking measures to help keep Marist School COVID-19-free.

As we have previously communicated, we have intensified cleaning procedures and are increasing the frequency of disinfecting protocols. We continue to follow guidelines recommended by government and health authorities, including such measures as frequent handwashing, mindful hygiene, vigilant social distancing, and strict quarantine procedures. More recently, we have enhanced safety measures in the campus by performing mandatory thermal screening and hand sanitizing for all individual who are authorized by the school management to enter school premises.  Likewise, we are also controlling ingress and egress of people, making the pedestrian gate (at the main façade between Gates 3 and 4) as the only place designated for this purpose. The exterior parking space at the back of the Magnificat Chapel shall be utilized to its full capacity before any interior parking at the main parking area.

Since we are in extraordinary times, we also recognized the opportunity to revisit our current policies and procedures, specifically on admission and enrollment of new and returning students for SY 2020-2021.  Hence, we have organized to adopt online admission and enrolment and chose to utilize payment facilities of selected banks. These arrangements (see attachment) are intended to extend existing support services for the benefit of our students. We would like you to know that our students and you, their parents, are supported through this process. (Please refer to the attached guidelines)

We trust that in God’s grace you and your love ones are safe from the threats of the COVID-19 outbreak. We are committed to continue implementing necessary precautions to promote campus safety and security. With these measures, we are positive that we can successfully prevent the entry of COVID-19 into our   beloved school.

Again, our primary concern is to ensure that Marist School is a safe and secure learning and working place.

Lastly and more importantly, let us continue praying and monitoring health and safety updates.

In Mary,

BR. NIÑO M. PIZARRO, FMS

School President
