From the Campus Ministry: Novena Prayer Against COVID-19
Dear Fellow Marists and Partners,
Greetings of Peace and well-being!
We thank God for His blessings and guidance in these trying times. We also pray for the souls of the thousands of lives lost due to the novel coronavirus disease. We remain optimistic that our faith and prayers will lead us to better times and enable us to adopt to new practices in following the teachings of the Church.
In this regard, may I invite you all to a Novena Prayer to stop the COVID-19 pandemic that will be on live broadcast via Zoom from May 11 to 19, 2020 at 8:00 P.M. The novena prayer is dedicated to the 231st birth anniversary of St. Marcellin Champagnat which will be on May 20, 2020.
The novena prayer is also our way of heeding to Pope Francis’ call for Catholics to be united with believers around the world in asking Mary’s intercession to end the COVID-19 pandemic; and in solidarity with the message of encouragement to take this situation as a time of re-connecting as conveyed by Marist Provincial, Brother Dominador A. Santiago, FMS, in his letter to Marists of Champagnat.
