Circular from the Principal: August 12, 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Greetings of Peace!

One of the major aims of Marist School’s area on Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) is to develop the skills of the students through manipulative and hands on activities. To achieve this aim given the limitations of the new normal and in light of the school’s online learning modality, the TLE Area has established a program called Project from Home. The program provides opportunities for grade 4-10 students to develop and further use their knowledge and skills by assembling useful projects at home.

In order to receive the materials to be used for the aforementioned projects, the parent/guardian is given the following options:

Option 1: Onsite Pick up

The parent/guardian goes to school and picks up the materials at a pick-up station located at the waiting area of the school’s main parking area, near the guard house at Gate 3.

For the safety of everyone, a specific date and time are set for each grade level for the sole purpose of controlling the number of parents coming in the campus. Kindly observe strictly the set schedule of your son’s grade level.

  • August 22 (Saturday)
    • Grade 4: 8:00 – 10:30 AM
    • Grade 5: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
    • Grade 6: 1:00 – 3:30 PM
  • August 29 (Saturday)
    • Grade 7: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Grade 8: 12:00 – 3:00PM
  • September 5 (Saturday)
    • Grade 9: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Grade 10: 12:00 – 3:00 PM

When entering the campus, kindly observe the school’s health and safety protocols by subjecting yourselves to temperature scanning and filling out our Visitor’s Health Survey Form (as prescribed by the IATF). Also, kindly present a government-issued or company ID for verification.

Option 2: Delivery

The school arranges for the materials to be personally delivered to the house of the student. Payment of the delivery service will be shouldered by the parent. Kindly note that the delivery charge varies depending on the location of the recipient.

For those who opt for personal delivery of the project materials, kindly include the following details on the request:

Name of Student:        ____________

Name of Parents:        ____________

Cell phone number:    ____________

Home address:           ____________

Also, kindly send the request to:

  • [For Grade 4 and 5 students] cruz_eleanor@technokids.edu.ph

  • [For Grade 9 students] gayda_jeffrey@technokids.edu.ph
