Dear Marist Parents and Guardians,

May God’s peace be with you and your families!

School Year 2020 – 2021 may have thrown us all a curve with immense challenges like the continuing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, the shift to online distance learning, and the financial struggles of our stakeholders. But like our patron St. Marcellin Champagnat, Marist School continues to dare in hope, push its boundaries, and remain steadfast in its mission of educating and transforming young men and women into ‘good Christians and virtuous citizens’ thru its Marist VIOLETS (Virtual and Integral Online Education through Technology and Support Systems).

As the school year ends, the Marist School Community celebrates all the blessings received, especially the milestones of our graduating and completing batches, with the following yearend ceremonies:

• June 21 [Monday; 9 AM]: Baccalaureate Mass
• June 22 [Tuesday; 2 PM]: Marist School Afternoon Shift Program’s 6th Grade 10 Completion and 21st Grade 12 Graduation Ceremonies
• June 23 [Wednesday; 9 AM]: 54th Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony
• June 23 [Wednesday; 2 PM]: 3rd Kindergarten Completion Ceremony
• June 24 [Thursday; 9 AM]: 48th Grade 12 Graduation Ceremony
• June 24 [Thursday; 2 PM]; 6th Grade 10 Completion Ceremony

In consideration not only of the strict compliance of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 but more importantly of ensuring a more inclusive celebration of our completion and graduation ceremonies, the school holds the virtual events via Zoom. Thus, parents/guardians of the completers and graduates are requested to take note of the email the school will send them on June 7 – 11, 2021 thru the TechnoKids (TK) email account of their children/wards. The email contains important details of the virtual event, including the Zoom Meeting ID, Code Name, and Meeting Passcode.

In addition to the virtual yearend ceremonies as documentations and mementos of the extraordinary school year, the school plans to hold a virtual class picture taking through a screenshot of their synchronous homeroom period session on Google Meet on May 28 to June 4. It is for this reason that we humbly seek your consent to allow your child/ward to participate in this historical activity. A Google Form will be sent to you by your child’s/ward’s homeroom adviser for you to accomplish. If you give your consent, a copy of the class picture will be sent to you on June 25 (Friday) thru your child’s/ward’s TK email account together with his/her Final Report Card.

Indeed, we are filled with much gratitude for your continued and overwhelming support to the Marist education. Guided by faith, Marist School continues to be your mission partner in shaping the future of your child/ward by providing him/her a holistic, technology-integrated, student-centered, and values-infused education uniquely Marist.
